The following applications have been modified:
- ARDMASK
-
- The new Parameter COMP allows masking of a specified NDF array
component.
- The new Parameter INSIDE allows the masked area to be
either the inside or the outside of the ARD region.
- The new Parameter VALUE allows the masked area to be
replaced with a specified constant value, or `bad' values.
- APERADD
-
- Modified to use the full NDF data structure, including
variances and WCS. All parameters have been changed. The aperture can
now optionally be specified using an ARD file. Some ARD files
allow n-dimensional NDFs to be processed.
- COLLAPSE
-
- The "Mean" value for the ESTIMATOR parameter now produces
a simple unweighted mean. The new "WMean" estimator produces
the weighted mean which was previously produced by the
"Mean" estimator.
- GDSET
-
- If a PostScript device is selected, GDSET now reports the name of the
file to which PostScript output will be written, together with
a warning to the effect that each subsequent graphics command will
overwrite this file.
- GDSTATE
-
- A list of the Domain names of all the co-ordinate Frames
associated with the current picture is now included in the
screen output.
- LAPLACE
-
- Modified to support the full NDF data structure, including
variances. Parameter names have changed.
- LUTABLE
-
- Re-written to use the PGPLOT graphics library.
- LUTSAVE
-
- Re-written to use the PGPLOT graphics library.
- The Parameter PLANE has been removed.
- A new parameter called LOGFILE has been added which allows
the colour table to be saved in a text file.
- MANIC
-
- Modified to use the full NDF data structure, including
variances and WCS. All parameters have been changed.
- MSTATS
-
- Modified to use the full NDF data structure, including
variances and WCS. All parameters have been changed.
- NOMAGIC
-
- No longer reports an error if the input NDF has no bad
pixels. Instead, the output is created as an exact copy of the input.
- OUTSET
-
- Modified to support the full NDF data structure, including
variances. Parameter names have changed.
- POW
-
- Modified to support the full NDF data structure, including
variances. Parameter names have changed.
- ROTATE
-
- If a null (!) value is supplied for the rotation angle, a
default value is now chosen which makes north vertical. If the
current co-ordinate Frame is not a celestial co-ordinate Frame,
then the rotation angle is chosen to make the second axis of the
Frame vertical.
- SETSKY
-
- Can now create either an IRAS90 astrometry extension or a
standard NDF WCS component.
- SLIDE
-
- Modified to support the full NDF data structure, including
variances and WCS. Parameter names have changed.
- SQORST
-
- Modified to use the full NDF data structure, including
variances and WCS. All parameters have been changed.
- TRIG
-
- Modified to support the full NDF data structure, including
variances. Parameter names have changed.
- WCSADD
-
- Frames can now be added to an NDF using a wider range of
Mappings, including Mappings which describe pin-cushion and barrel
distortion.
- The selected Mapping can now be dumped to a text file
for use by other applications such as
REGRID.
- WCSALIGN
-
- Can now be used with NDFs of any dimensionality.
