Once a window has been created, any resizing does not alter the size of the
plotting area seen by applications programs; all that happens is either part of
the plotting area becomes invisible or a blank border appears around the
plotting area.
You should avoid resizing a window while an application is attached (i.e.
plotting into) the window as the application may not be able to handle the
resulting change in the picture position correctly.
